WTTH

Welcome to the Hive is a partnership between Adam Janusz and Colin Owen. It functions as a parenthetical excursion in their design-infested lives. Welcome to the Hive is limited in brains, time, and abilities. To accommodate, we often partner with a number of folks more interesting and competent than it’s progenitors. These people are kind and charming and talented. They get the big thumbs up from us.

Work included on this site is mostly that spawned from the partnership directly. We've also dropped in a handful of personal projects that maintain the tone set up by Welcome to the Hive.

The work is voluntary and unburdened by practical, professional, or dogmatic concerns. Projects have proved amphibious: gestating in one medium, pausing for a handstand in the next, vaulting through 2 others, then splashing back into the original. We like this quality.

So far, Welcome to the Hive has produced: one graphic novel, one (multi-media, interactive) art exhibit, assorted arty detritus, and multiple attempts at web-sight. More projects are in the pipeline. Stay tuned.

Colin officially starts the new gig. People pay to hear what he has to say. Ha.
